Market Harborough’s Bringhurst Primary School, part of the David Ross Education Trust, has been awarded the prestigious Gold School Games Mark Award.

Market Harborough’s Bringhurst Primary School, part of the David Ross Education Trust, has been awarded the prestigious Gold School Games Mark Award.

The Gold School Games Mark Award is presented to schools that offer a variety of outstanding opportunities for students and members of the local community to participate in sport.

The School Games programme, an initiative funded by Sport England and delivered by the Youth Sport Trust, is designed to keep competitive sport at the heart of schools by providing opportunities for young people to take part in competitions and achieve their personal best.

Mr Andy Usher, PE Coordinator at Bringhurst Primary School, said: “Achieving the Gold School Games Mark is testament to our hard-working staff and pupils at Bringhurst Primary School.

“Through the David Ross Education Trust, we are proud to offer an unrivalled enrichment programme, where pupils are able develop their talents through a wide range of incredible sporting opportunities”
