Bringhurst Primary School is committed to ensuring that all pupils gain maximum benefit from their time with us.

Admissions

This school has a planned admission number of twenty six at present, based on the physical space and teaching resources available.

Children qualify for entry into school in the September following their fourth birthday.

All parents must apply for a place in school and the requisite form is available from the school office. However, the LA is the admitting authority and will ultimately make all decisions on admissions.

The Headteacher and staff will be pleased to show prospective parents around the school.  Time is set aside for this in the Autumn Term or by arrangement at a later date prior to entry.  Following confirmation of places, children and parents are invited into school for an induction meeting.  This is followed by two further visits for children, during which they can meet other children and familiarise themselves with school routines.

During this period the school staff will liaise with the local playgroups and may meet children in their pre-school environment and at home.

For in-year admissions, please contact us for information about how to apply.
