Parent Information
At Bringhurst building a close relationship with our parents is very important to us.
We believe that your child will only benefit by close co-operation between home and school.
You will be given every opportunity to share in your child’s education. Staff are always available to talk to you about any aspect of your child’s development, both formally on parents’ evenings and informally throughout the year.
Teachers are always willing to see you about your child’s progress, if you have direct worries or problems concerning your child’s education we advise that you ring the school to talk to us or make an appointment to speak to someone in person.
Parent Teacher Association
This school has an active PTA which puts in a lot of time and effort organising social and fundraising events.
New members are always welcome and you can contact the Chair of committee members through the school office. Keep checking the events section of the website to find out the next PTA event.
My Family Coach
We use My Family Coach to help our parents and carers understand their children’s behaviour. My Family Coach is a free website written by behaviour experts with 20 years’ experience working with over 5,000 schools. My Family Coach will support you through the tough times, inspire you with new ideas, and share practical tips to make parenting that little bit easier.
